About
Near where the Ozarks meet the plains, in Osceola, Missouri, you’ll find The Amish Trading Post. Over the years, this location has been home to many businesses, including sporting goods stores, bait shops, grocery stores, and more.

In 2013, after a fire destroyed the previous building—known as The Countryside Trading Post—the current business was opened. At the time, it was a place where travelers could stop for a meal or a cup of coffee. Our Amish neighbors were looking for a spot along the highway to sell their homemade goods, so we began offering some of their products in the store.

These items quickly became a huge hit and soon turned into a major reason people stopped in. Before long, we became The Amish Trading Post as you see it today—a full store featuring Amish foods, goods, and handcrafted furniture from Amish communities near and far.
